Deep Grove Ball Bearings is a type of rolling-element bearing that uses balls as separation means between the bearing races. It is composed of an outer ring and an inner ring with a group of steel balls and a set of cage composition. The purpose of a ball bearing is to reduce the rational friction and support radial and axial loads. They come in two types: Single row and double row.
These bearings often have steel shields or rubber seals installed on one or both sides and are pre-lubricated with grease. Steel cages are the most common. For big deep groove ball bearings and high-speed application, brass cages are used. They are available in open, shielded, and sealed designs.
